RELaunch

June 04, 2011
Sorry that I've been a slacker for a while. I have been trying to figure what is the most important to me and I would like to do and how I can do it.

I have been working lots recently and have been focusing on my job. There are lots of things that I was missing to finish my training, climbing, and working. It was so difficult to find the time and unfortunately i haven't stayed motivated and everything was shutting down. Now, I'm so excited to be back to relaunch on myself core values in life again. And i filling down on my schedule til April next year. Lately i went climbing at Heart wall with my brother and we crushed 5.12a "Jai Jaw or as Concentrate in English" on my second attempted. The route wasn't difficult if you go to the left. It was just overhanging and bouldery moves. I'm very greatful to work on these kind of difficulty route and hope that i will wrap up some new projects soon.

I can see the green form the top

I feel pretty STOKED on the rope

Add and I taking about mega plan next year

Add was belaying with Gri Gri 2 and Sharmar Rope

Good Job Olive
Next month... Thailand will have an election and I think this is such a great opportunity for thai peeps to VOTE and choose the good responsible person who can help develop the country. I'm down for that man. DON'T FORGET TO USE YOUR rights.

Cheers

Rockstar Report...Time to retire your harness

May 02, 2011
Harnesses are made from super-duable nylon, but some areas wear faster than others. The most obvious wear spot are the tie-in points - inspect these regularly to ensure that rope friction hasn't sawn through the protective nylon sheath, or worse, into the structural webbing itself. Also, inspect the waistbelt webbing where it passes through the buckle, as well as the belay loop. If the fibers or cut, the strength of the webbing is greatly diminished. If you note visible wear in any of these places, buy a new harness immediately. For more climbing information " Click it here " Thank you climbing magazine.

Underworld Tour@24

April 28, 2011
After the big three days celebrating the water festival. " Song Kran 2011" Life got back to usual again. It was such a fantastic time to hang out with all my good friends this year. I loved it.

At beginning of the month, CMRCR exploration crew headed back up to the north again. We drove up 200 km away from Chiang Mai to such a beautiful valley it's call Pha Deang. They were all Chinese community that once used to fight with the lead dictatorship Chinese communist ex-president Mao Zedhong. It was an awesome time to stay away from Chiang Mai and enjoyed our wonderful time there.

The underworld trip was the 6-12 April. The exploration plans to survey the new caves and my goal on this trip was to learn about my mental capabilities. In the first few days the trip I was so frustrated for the team because we could not reach the goals that we were setting it up. Ma Thong Sui Tung we did some discovery work in one of the caves. It was raining a lots out there we needed to change plan so we could sleep underground. Sucks Man!. I felt so tired after 3 days of scouting. The longer I stayed, the more tired I felt. At the end of the day as we walked back to the place, we said hi to a guy named Khun Varin. He has been living here for long time and he knows the valley well. He told us there were caves right near his peaches farm. We walked right away there and tried to toss some rocks down. We thought there might be something interesting at this one and we decided to come back the next day. The new crew were coming to join us with more people. The first wrapped down was about 45 meters. It looks like a silk hole caves. Caving's definitely very different than rock climbing. In my opinion I think it is more mentally challenging and a more dangerous sport. It seems like you are playing with your life. Another 25 meters down on the second wrapping we found a hug elephant tusk. I learned lots on this trip. It was such an amazing experience for me and I'm glad that I did go with them. I've got many little leaches that eat my blood, how to do ragging, survivor, and team work. Those kind of things make me conscious of fear every day.

Before 14 hours underworld tour
Big thank to Pi Kat for organizing this trip. Food, drink, and such a beautiful place Pha Deang happy house. Ajarn Ood and his wife, Ar Ying for yummy dinner. And all of local people for being kind to the crew. Hope we can go back there again soon.

Lastly I'd like to say thank you for everyone for my birth day WISHES.

Cheers!

Rockstar Report...Daisy chain dangers!!

March 30, 2011
I was curious for a long times. How to use a daisy chain. And I've seen many climbers using them as a personal anchor system when they are at an anchor. Check it out and pay attention to this VDO that clearly shows the danger.

BOOyah!!!!

March 23, 2011
ROCKSTAR report... First of all. I'd like to say sorry to all of the people who have been affected by the earthquake in Japan. The tsunami, nuclear power plants leaking and all kinds of terrible stuff, I am so sad this is happening. Some people died because of the quake and others suffered under the wreckage because the rescuers could not find them in time. It was a hard time for our Japanese peeps in this situation. But I hope the kindness from people around the world is felt in the Land of Sun. I hope it encourages them to know we are supporting them. Be Strong and my best wishes to you all. Gamba Gamba!!
Safe JAPAN.....
Finally I've been focusing on the values for my life. That I've been looking for. And I was so excited to stay close to the traditions and values of a traditional life. Love what you, do what you love, love what you are doing. It's one of the best values of life. And I couldn't find anything better, for me, than what i am doing now. Stay away form the crowded city, and simply be on the rock. It was such a good feeling. And makes life is just so humble. Last weekend I jump on the rock again with the killers. Add, Lung Steave and one of our friend Pim. And my goal for the day was to crush 25 routes in 5 hours. I did all the links up route at Crazy Horse area. And tried to go as fast as i could. Eventually I couldn't reach my goal. I nearly did all the routes, but I actually didn't feel bad in the end. I felt very proud about the process that I've been in and the things I have been working towards. I was looking back. How do I need to improve my skills? And I also had so much fun. That was maybe the whole point for the day. CLIMB ON!

Value in Body

March 13, 2011
It has been a while since i last wrote. I've been trying to find the core values of my life. I've been thinking about what's most important to me and what i can do to progress in my life. Rock climbing is one of the most important things for me and it's something that i love to do.

Always love what i am doing
Life is hard. I have heard a lots from any people. But working at CMRCA has been one of the best experiences of my life. I've been so lucky to find a job that i love and not be stuck working in a job i didn't like. I love the people I work with and they feel like a family to me. Also I get to meet lots of rad people in the community and they are always so nice and feel psyched.

This is where i work
Traveling is something else that i value in my life. That I've been thinking about it for long time. Places I want to go to and what I want to see. My brother and I we had some mega plan coming up for the next year to jump on the climbing trip. And we also plan for the road in Thailand this year at a time when we can balance it with work commitments.

i think i love being high
Updates Last week. My brother and i went to the crag together and we've got some SICK! photos shoot. Check it out here...Surachet (Add) Kongsingh. Big THANK! to Jens Glasgow for the OLYMPUS E400
