Rope I Always Use

May 25, 2013

I've been climbing and guiding nearly 6 years and one of the most important and essential gear for climbing beside harnesses, helmets, shoes, clothing,etc, it is climbing rope. Since I started climbing I always use Sterling Rope. I remember the feeling I had the first time I have tried, that I have to always trust the rope. My experiences with Sterling Rope are amazing, whether I an guiding or sending my project. It feels so good every time when I am clipping the rope they such a light plus super durable and you can climb with difference types of rock. If you are looking for the greatest rope I highly recommended Sterling Rope whether you are beginner or pro, for me THEY are always my number one choice.

Learning Setting Traning

May 22, 2013

I feel  much better now and got over my jet lag after my  long journey to America. I have got everything settled here, I stay at my boss's friend's house, it's  like home stay and I love it ! I got to play with the kids and have dinner with them It's a very good way to learn new culture.

It has been about a week since I arrived here, I have been working at BRC and setting new routes.  I had the opportunity to set up climbing routes and it's something  I find the most challenging for me so far at work because I am always the slowest. Setting routes  is not a new thing for me but it's always a challenge to make good and enjoyable routes for every abilities.

Boulder has lots of outdoor enthusiast and I almost feel like you can't live here if you don't do sports. It's the first time of my life that I see people from different ages do rock climbing , running, biking and any other sports. I am lucky to come here and it's time for me to be back on my training mode to get fit and strong again!

Fortunately I went out climbing at Eldorado Canyon this morning with Mike and Andy, it's something that I was not expected to do today and it was amazing out there, perfect weather but a bit chilly for me there , so we did 4 pitches on mulitipitch climbing at Southwest Buttress. I loved it man! it was great experience and I did learn short rope technique, commands when you have some hearing issue because environment around, so it made me realized how much important about communications and good plan before you take off to the rock!

Travels---> Boulder

May 14, 2013
 It has been such a long trip on the plane from Chiang Mai to Boulder and first time out side of Asia, I am still tired from the jet lag but I think it will be fine in couples of days. I am currently living in Boulder for at lease two and half months here for Exchange Program with Boulder Rock Club and Colorado Mountain School, I am so excited to be here and I really enjoy it, so far so good!

 My first weekend here was great! I've spent my time hanging out with the crew from Dragon.  For those who don't know about them, Dragon is a well known organization that create programs for students experience abroad and encourage them to learn from new cultures, etc. I knew that my boss has been working with them for a long time and since then I think those people are so cool. Then I went for my first trail running up on Sanitas MT just right on the west of B-town and first time rock climbing on granite at Boulder Canyon on Bowling alley, so I did "Mosquito Burritos 5.9 for warm up" " Splitting Hares and Curb Service 5.10", " Bad Girl Get Spanked 5.11b/c onsighted" and I also did my first trad climbing here " No Name 5.7" After that I was kind of feeling to try something harder and I jumped on " A Toll Cool One 5.12" redpointed second tried. It was a very fun weekend. I am very STOKED to be here. Thanks to Susie and her family for having me in their house and also Aron and Japhy for helping me out to get everything settle.

Monday was my first day at BRC and it was awesome, I set up some problems and we did fore run ( mean that the route are good, enjoyable and safe) all the problems afterward. It was kind of "orientation day" once again I feel I am learning and making new experience everyday here!
